Why is my order getting rejected?

Your order might be getting rejected due to multiple reasons such as insufficient funds, stock group change, stock not available for trading, connectivity issues etc.

Choose a platform

To know the rejection reason on NEO App, follow the following steps:

Click on Orders → Go to 'Closed' → Select the Order you want to check the status of → You will see the reason for Order Rejection

To know the rejection reason in NEO Web, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on Orders → Go to Closed → Select the Order you want to check the status for
  1. You can check the reason for Order Rejection here
  • Your order might be getting rejected due to multiple reasons such as insufficient funds, stock group change, stock not available for trading, connectivity issues, etc.

  • To know the rejection reason, Go to the order book

  • To go to your order book please click on View Order/Trade Reports and select Order Book or simply hit F3.

  • Below is an example of the order book window.

  • If your order has been rejected, you can view the same in the "Rejection Reason" column.

To know the rejection reason on Kotak Stock Trading App

  • You will see a Failure message on the order page

To know the rejection reason in KST Web

  • You will see an error on the order page
