How can I transfer funds from bank accounts that are not linked to my Kotak Securities account?

Due to regulatory requirements, it is not possible to transfer funds from bank accounts that are not linked to your Kotak Neo Account.

You can change/add the active Bank Account details by logging in to the App:

  1. Go to profile section of the app
  2. Click on Account details
  3. Click on Linked bank accounts
  4. Click on Add bank account
  5. Click on Proceed
  6. Click on Add Bank Account
  7. Add details like IFSC Code, Bank Name, Account No., Select Account type,
  8. Add MICR Code, Branch Name, Branch Address
  9. Whether Default Bank choose Yes if you want to make it your Default Bank Account
  10. Check the Declaration
  11. And click SAVE
  12. You Bank Account Details Updation would take about 24 working hours to come into effect.

Thereafter you can Transfer funds

You will first have to link the required Bank Account by following the given steps and only then can your transfer funds from the given Bank Account to Kotak Securities Account.

You can change/add the active Bank Account details by logging in to the App:

  1. Go to More Menu Option in the Menu Bar given at the bottom
  2. Scroll down to HELP & MORE section
  3. Click on HELP option
  4. Click on ‘Service Request’
  5. Go to ‘Bank Updation’
  6. Click on Proceed
  7. Click on Add Bank Account
  8. Add details like IFSC Code, Bank Name, Account No.
  9. Select Account type,
  10. Add MICR Code, Branch Name, Branch Address
  11. Whether Default Bank choose Yes if you want to make it your Default Bank Account
  12. Check the Declaration
  13. And click SAVE

You Bank Account Details Updation would take about 24 working hours to come into effect.
