How To Link Aadhaar With Kotak Mahindra Bank Account?

However, linking your Aadhaar to your bank account is easy and free and comes with some benefits.

Aadhaar is a valid Know Your Customer document and you can complete your KYC process by linking your Aadhaar card. If your Aadhaar card is linked to your account, you can complete many processes online and in a paperless way.

Most banks offer a variety of ways to easily link your Aadhaar.

If you have a Kotak Mahindra Bank account, you can link Aadhaar to your account in the following ways:

  • Through Internet Banking

  • Through SMS

  • Through Mobile Banking

  • By visiting a branch

  • Via their website

If you have net banking access to your account, you can use this method.

Step 1: Visit the Kotak Mahindra Bank website (https://www.kotak.com/en.html) Step 2: Login to your Kotak Mahindra net banking account with CRN or customer ID. Step 3: Under the “Quick Links” tab, select “Banking”. Step 4: Click on the ‘Profile Update’ Step 5: Select ‘Update your Aadhaar’ option Step 6: Fill your Aadhaar number in the space provided and submit it Step 7: After the process is done, you will receive a confirmation within a week’s time

If you do not have net banking access, use this method to update your Aadhaar online.

Step 1: Visit the following link: https://www.kotak.com/srforms/content/forms/af/kotakforms/aadhaarupdate.html Step 2: Enter your Aadhaar registered mobile number, and date of birth or CRN Step 3: Click send OTP Step 4: Enter the OTP in the space provided Step 5: In the next screen enter the details requested: account number and your 12-digit Aadhaar number Step 6: Submit the form Step 7: You will get a confirmation on your mobile regarding the same

Step 1: Visit a branch near you Step 2: Fill the Aadhaar seeding form available in the bank Step 3: Attach a self-attested copy of your Aadhaar card Step 4: Submit it to the bank executive. Carry the original copy for verification Step 5: Once the process is done, the bank will send a confirmation via SMS or email

If you have the Kotak Mahindra mobile banking app, you can update your Aadhaar details on your phone

Step 1: Login to your mobile banking account Step 2: Go to “Profile” sub-menu Step 3: Click on “Aadhaar Update” option Step 4: Enter your Aadhaar number twice Step 5: Click on the “Submit” button Step 6: Your Aadhaar will be linked instantly Step 7: You will get a confirmation through SMS

Kotak Mahindra customers can avail of the option of SMS to link the Aadhaar. The process is quick and free. However, the mobile number you use should be registered with the bank to use this facility.
