Society for Doorstep School (DDS)

DSS is a non-profit organisation established to aid children and youth from underprivileged backgrounds through various educational interventions and skill development programmes. This initiative focuses on bolstering the "School on Wheels" programme, a mobile classroom housed within a bus, tailored to reach marginalised groups of out-of-school children including those dwelling on the streets, pavements, and engaged in child labour. These mobile classrooms will specifically serve labourers, street vendors, and street children in the APMC area of Vashi, Navi Mumbai, benefiting approximately 150 children.
