The Kotak Education Foundation (KEF), established by Kotak Securities Limited (KSL), is the principal conduit for executing CSR initiatives in education and livelihood. KEF aids children and youth from disadvantaged families through a range of education-focused interventions and skill-building initiatives, to ensure the continuity of a child’s education. The foundation essentially extends financial support to students who are affected by the loss of an earning parent, both parents or another primary earner (aside from parents) due to COVID-19, under its "Project Shiksha Nidhi."
