Special live trading session on Saturday, March 2, 2024

Special live trading session on Saturday, March 2, 2024 by NSE and BSE in the Equity and F&O (Futures and Options) segments.

Why is there a live session on a Saturday?

  • Intraday orders (MIS, Cover order and Bracket order) will not be allowed for both equity and F&O segment and stop loss orders are not carried forward
  • Intraday equity profit, premium received from options sold or MTM Profit on 1st March will not be included in the available funds for special live trading session on 2nd March due to settlement holiday.
  • It’s advisable not to sell shares on 2nd March that were purchased on 1st March, since the settlement date of both trading days is 4th March.
  • AMO placed on Friday will execute on Saturday
  • SIP scheduled for 2nd March will not be executed during the special live trading session.
  • For Stockcase and Sipit, SIP orders scheduled on 2nd March will be processed on 4th March. Orders placed during the market hour window on 2nd March will be processed as usual.
