  • QHow the Reversal Amount in Advance Brokerage Product is Calculated?

    Advance fee reversible is up to the plan value of your opted product.
    Reversal Illustration - Suppose you choose plan with Rs.1000 for 6 months validity and generate a brokerage of Rs.800 during the validity period, then Rs. 800 would be reversed to your account. If the brokerage generated is Rs.4000, then only Rs.1000 is reversible because the maximum amount reversible is the up to the advance fee. If no brokerage is generated during the validity period the advance fee will not be reversed.
  • QWhat will be the minimum brokerage charged to me per order?

    You will be charged a minimum brokerage of Rs.21 per executed order, subject to a ceiling of 2.5% on both Buy & Sell orders.
  • QWill a brokerage of Rs. 21 be charged on every order placed?
    A
    A minimum brokerage of Rs. 21 will be charged for the traded order only. (Either partial or complete trades)
  • QIs this applicable to all products/ privileged brokerage clients as well?

    Brokerage will be calculated on a per traded order basis. Brokerage will be calculated as per brokerage% & minimum brokerage per unit (of the scrip); subject to Rs. 21 as a minimum brokerage and a ceiling of 2.5% on per traded order value.

  • QWill a brokerage of Rs. 21 be charged on every traded order?

    What if my brokerage as per brokerage% slab and Minimum brokerage slab is less than Rs. 21.

    If actual brokerage is less than Rs. 21, and Rs. 21 is greater than 2.5% of traded order value then you will be charged 2.5% brokerage.

  • QWhat if my brokerage as per brokerage % slab is less than brokerage as per minimum brokerage per unit (of the scrip) ?

    Minimum brokerage as per minimum brokerage per unit (of the scrip) will be charged provided this value is greater than Rs. 21 and overall ceiling of 2.5% on per traded order value.

  • QWhat happens if Rs. 21 is greater than 2.5% of the order traded value?

    Brokerage @ 2.5% will be charged only in case your brokerage as per brokerage % slab and minimum brokerage per unit (of the scrip) exceeds the ceiling of 2.5% on per traded order value.

  • QIs the minimum brokerage applicable for all types of orders?

    Yes, It is applicable to all type of orders under cash segment.
  • QWhat if my order is liquidated for Debtors recovery?
    A
    Minimum brokerage will be charged on orders placed for Debtors recovery.
  • QWhat if my order is liquidated for Margin recovery under Risk Management?

    Minimum brokerage will be charged on orders placed for Margin recovery under Risk Management
  • QHow will the concept of Minimum brokerage be applicable in case of a smart order?
    A
    Minimum brokerage in this case will be charged to you on an executed order basis at exchange level. So, if your order trades on a single exchange, you will be charged Rs. 21 provided your normal brokerage is less than the minimum brokerage and subject to a ceiling of 2.5%. If your order trades on multiple exchanges, you will be charged Rs. 21 on each exchange provided your normal brokerage is less than the minimum brokerage and subject to a ceiling of 2.5%
  • QIs there any change in Derivative Brokerage calculation as well?

  • QWill it be charged for currency trades as well?
    A
    No.
  • QIs this minimum brokerage limit applicable for NRI clients?
    A
    Yes, minimum brokerage is applicable for NRI client as well.
  • QWhat is the minimum brokerage for NRI clients?
    A
    A minimum of Rs. 50 or a ceiling of 2.5% per order traded value (Both Buy & Sell).

*Brokerage calculated in the examples given above is at 0.59% and minimum 4 paisa.
