  • QHow long will it take to get access to place trades?
    A

    Once you fill up the form on website and make the payment of account opening fee you will receive the account opening kit at your correspondence address. You should receive the account opening kit in 3-4 working days from the time your payment is realized.

    On receiving the form you can submit it to Kotak Securities along with necessary KYC documents. It generally takes 7 working days to activate the account from our side after receiving complete form.

  • QI have filled the form online, but I haven't received the physical form for my signatures.

    Generally you should receive the account opening kit at your correspondence address in 3-4 working days from the time we realize your payment of account opening fee. If you have not received the same in the specified timeline please get in touch with our customer care team at 1800 209 9191 / 3030 5757 / 1800 222 299.
  • QWhat if I have filled wrong information while filling the form online? Can I correct the same in the printed form?
    A

    In case you have made error while filling up the form on website you will have to fill another form. For customers information safety reasons we do not allow to make corrections on the form with error. You will not be charged again for filling another form. You can inform account opening person for the same.

  • QWhich documents / proofs are required to be submitted along with the printed form?

  • QI have been denied an account, will I get a refund of the account opening fees?
    A

    If the account has been denied by Kotak Securities due to technical issues, we will refund your account opening fees. However, in case where client has failed to submit required documents and forms within 60 days of paying the fees, the account opening fees will not be refunded.

  • QWith User ID and password created on website, what can I access
    A

    With the User ID and Password created on website you will get limited access to KEAT. You will be able to place trades once account opening formalities are completed. To get access to KEAT you have to download it to your computer, click here to download.
