How can I link my PAN with my Aadhar card?

As per the new NSE norms, your PAN has to be linked with your Aadhar card before March 31, 2022. From April 1, 2022 onwards PANs that aren’t linked with Aadhar cards will be considered ineligible for trading in the market. So ensure that you get this done before the given deadline.

There are two ways with which you can link your PAN to your Aadhar card –

1. You can go online and link it from the Income Tax Portal here.

2. Or you can send an SMS to 56161 or 567678 to make the link.

Type your message in the following format:

UIDPAN <12 digit Aadhaar> <10 digit PAN>

Then send the text to either 56161 or 567678 from your registered cell phone number.

Just ensure that all the information that you provide is accurate, and your PAN will be quickly linked to your Aadhar card.
