How to check Aadhaar Status

Aadhaar is a 12-digit number that uniquely identifies its holder based on demographics and biometrics. It was launched in 2010 and is also called Unique Identification Number or UID. You can now use it as an address and identity proof and to access a wide range of services from the government and private sector.
