Ambo Agritec Limited was originally incorporated as a Private Limited Company as Sunny Biscuits Bakery and Confectionery Private Limited on September 07, 1994 at Kolkata. Subsequently, name of Company was changed to Ambo Foods Private Limited dated May 30, 2008 and again to Ambo Agritec Private Limited dated February 18, 2013. The status changed to Public Limited and name of the Company changed to Ambo Agritec Limited and a fresh Certificate of Incorporation was issued on September 01, 2022 by the Registrar of Companies, Kolkata. Led by the Company Promoter, Mr. Umesh Kumar Agarwal, Ambo is primarily engaged in Manufacturing of Biscuits, outsourced manufacturing of Edible Oils, Vanaspati and Bengali Speciality Products. In addition, it is also engaged in trading of Crude Linseed Oil, Soyabean Meal, etc. The Company use raw material of premium quality sourced from reputed local suppliers for Biscuits and raw materials imported for Edible Oils Vanaspati, which help them to ensure the quality of products.The manufacturing plant for biscuits is situated at Mangalpur Industrial Estate, Raniganj in West Bengal. Their plant facility is well equipped with machineries and other handling equipment to facilitate smooth manufacturing process. The Company began its journey with manufacturing of biscuits under the brand name Sunny Biscuits. AMBO has focused on new expansions diversification to drive its business in Indian overseas markets. Today the product portfolio includes: premium biscuits, potato chips, extruded snacks, edible oils, cakes, salted snacks and specialty packed food items.Within a few years of operation, it expanded its production and launched another premium brand of biscuits under the brand name Happy Bite for the semi urban markets. AMBO is recognized as one of the most dependable trusted business firms from this part of the country. Currently it has several registered brands under its banner i.e. Happy Bite biscuits chips, AMBO Gold Vanaspati, Happy Heart and Ambo edible oils Max Health specialty food products.During the year 2017, Company sold their Liquid Storage terminal at Nhava Sheva Port to one of the group company, Infinitium Storage Solution LLP. Further looking at the opportunities in the market, it had diversified into the business of trading of PVC Polymer, biodiesel, gold, silver bars and established itself as a Multi commodity trading organization.The Company came out with a public issue of 34,00,000 Equity Shares of face value of Rs 10 each in November, 2022 by raising Rs. 10.20 Crore through Fresh Issue.
