Incorporated in 1949, ABB India Limited is a leading technology and engineering company, promoted by ABB Group, Switzerland. ABB India is listed on both the National Stock Exchange (NSE: ABB) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE: 500002). Its core business focuses on providing electrification, automation, robotics, and digitalisation solutions across various industries. ABB India serves sectors such as utilities, transport, and infrastructure, delivering high-value technological products and services that enable energy efficiency, productivity, and sustainable development.

ABB India operates through four primary business divisions: Electrification, Motion, Process Automation and Robotics & Discrete Automation. The Electrification segment offers products like switchgear, circuit breakers and digital solutions for power distribution. The Motion division provides motors, generators and drives for industrial applications, enhancing energy efficiency. Process Automation delivers control systems, measurement products and automation solutions for sectors including oil & gas, chemicals and marine. The Robotics & Discrete Automation vertical supplies industrial robots, robotic systems and digital services for manufacturing industries. ABB India’s revenue is primarily generated through product sales, turnkey project execution, after-sales services and digital solutions tailored to industry-specific requirements.
