What is a New Fund Offering (NFO)?
A NFO is a new scheme being offered by an AMC. It helps AMC raise capital, similar to an IPO. NFO can be both open-ended and closed-ended. An NFO can be listed for 30 days, after that they are traded same as other Mutual Fund schemes.
