Personal Details Errors

“Account already exists with mentioned Mobile No. / Email ID” - Your mobile number or email ID is already linked to an existing Kotak Securities account.
Note: Each mobile number and email ID can be used only once for account opening. -
“SEBI Defaulter” - The PAN you entered is listed in SEBI’s defaulter list. Account opening is not allowed as per regulatory restrictions.

“Invalid PAN Number” - The entered PAN is either incorrect or not in a valid format.

🏦 Bank Verification Errors
“Entered Bank Account No. and CRN do not belong to the customer.” | PAN received from the bank doesn't match your PAN in the application. |
“Entered Bank Account No./CRN not valid or account closed.” | The entered account number is either incorrect or inactive. |
“Entered Bank Account not allowed for trading account opening.” | The bank account’s scheme code isn't supported for digital onboarding. |
“Entered Bank Account not allowed for trading account linkage.” | The account has restricted operating rights (e.g., view-only access). |
“No Records Found for given Foracid and CRN combination.” | The account number and CRN combination entered is incorrect. |
