RVNL Company background
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) was incorporated on January 24, 2003, and is headquartered in New Delhi. It is a government-owned public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Railways and is listed on both the NSE (RVNL) and BSE (542649). The company was established to implement rail infrastructure projects on behalf of the Indian Railways. RVNL acts as an executing agency for major railway projects including new lines, gauge conversion, track doubling, electrification, metro projects, and railway workshops.
