Indian Cancer Society has been doing sterling work in fighting cancer across India. It has been and continues to be the beacon of hope for thousands of underprivileged cancer patients, the huge cost discourages many patients to start their treatment or once started, do not complete the treatment due to lack of funds with this aim ICS has started this financial support to mitigate the problem of treatment abandonment. With such support the abandonment rate of treatment significantly decreases. Under this project ICS will support after care services of the cancer survivors. About 56 survivors shall be supported through this project.
