I am getting a message saying, “Please grant phone and SMS permissions from phone settings” during registration. What should I do?

This message may appear if you accidentally denied the required permissions or pressed the back button twice during setup. No worries—here’s how to fix it:

  1. Open your device’s Settings.
  2. Go to App Management (or Apps, depending on your device).
  3. Find and select the Kotak Neo app.
  4. Tap on Permissions.
  5. Select Phone and choose Allow.
  6. Then select SMS and choose Allow.

Once done, return to the Kotak Neo app and continue with your registration. You’re all set to go!
