Kona Kona Shiksha

Kona Kona Shiksha – (NISM) is a step towards our belief in financial inclusion for all members of the society. We have initiated this campaign, as part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme in Tier I, Tier II and Tier III cities, with a focus on creating awareness and educating the youth of our country with financial markets know-how and understanding especially for the benefit of students of final year of graduation (preferably Commerce, Economics, Engineering), post-graduation (preferably M. Com, MBA, Master of Computer Applications) and Law.

This Program aims to impart the following:

• Awareness of personal finance framework
• Awareness of pre-requisites for investing in securities markets
• Understanding of precautions and awareness of risk involved while investing in securities markets
• Capacity building for evaluation of investment opportunities in securities markets
• Awareness of employment opportunities in financial service industries
• Awareness of self- employment opportunities
• Empowerment of students for facing interviews with financial services industry employment opportunities

Under this project, NISM will conduct 1000 such financial education programs & will cover about 50,000 students across Pan India.
