Foundation for Promotion of Sports and Games

KSL partnered with the Foundation for Promotion of Sports and Games. It is committed to bridging the gap between the best athletes in India and the best athletes in the world with a mission to support the Indian athletes in winning Olympic Gold medals. It has been supporting athletes since 2008.

Promotion of Sports and Games aims to inspire generations to come by helping Indian athletes and para-athletes win Olympic and Paralympic Medals. OGQ has been instrumental in creating role models like MC Mary Kom, PV Sindhu, Saina Nehwal and Mirabai Chanu. MC Mary Kom’s success has inspired a large number of young Indian women to pursue Boxing as a sport. PV Sindhu’s and Saina Nehwal’s success has seen a surge in the number of badminton courts coming up in and around Hyderabad, which shows how they have inspired the youth to pick up Badminton. Mirabai Chanu’s Silver Medal at Tokyo Olympics 2020 immediately inspired the youth and the participation in weightlifting at the following National Games grew manifolds.

In 2024 Paris Olympics, 4 out of 5 individual winners were supported by OGQ while 25 out of 29 medals were won by OGQ supported para-athletes.

Under this project, KSL shall be supporting women sports personalities for attaining medals in national and international sports shooting competitions.
